St. Ann's Garage Sale
St. Ann's Women's Guild organizes the annual St. Ann's
Parish Garage Sale. The generous donations received and hard work of
many volunteers generate a substantial return, 70% of which stays in the
parish itself, while 30% is contributed to community charities.
Mark your calendar for our next annual Garage Sale
March 17-24, 2012. We will be COLLECTING donated items
beginning Saturday March 17th through Monday March 19th.
Tuesday March 20th we sort and price items,
Wednesday March 21st is
the Volunteer Pre-Sale and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday March 22nd,
23rd and 24th, we are open to the public for our SALE.
To bring about this wonderful event, we need LOTS of
help setting up and
taking down tables and shelves in the
Parish Center and Gym; sorting and displaying the tons
of goodies our parishioners donate; assisting shoppers; cleaning up at the end. We have a job for everyone!
Men are extremely welcome
and needed as
many of the items are heavy and we try to help bring in donations and assist our buyers loading their cars. We
gladly verify Confirmand and High School student service hours,
we just ask that students work side by side with a parent/adult
supervisor as we are very busy and cannot be responsible for supervising
young volunteers.
Please, donate your clean, usable treasures that need a
new home and volunteer your help to make the Garage Sale successful this year:
St Ann’s needs
you! Working a 3 hour shift entitles you to shop at the
Volunteer Pre-Sale on Wednesday afternoon March 21th.
