Community

Through our COMMUNITY of faith gathered in WORD and WORSHIP, we receive the mission
of EVANGELIZATION, SERVICE, and STEWARDSHIP and the ministry of shared LEADERSHIP. The EUCHARIST, the breaking of bread in remembrance of Jesus, continues to be the font
and the focal point of parish life.

COMMUNITY: the element of parish life which draws parishioners together with Jesus Christ in mutual support, activity, and celebration marked by inclusivity.

Examples in parish life:
1. There is a good spirit of working together among parish groups and organizations.

2. Programming for parish organizations consistently offers prayer, information, education, entertainment and hospitality.

3. There is an annual review of the purpose, effectiveness, and need for each parish organization.

4. The parish collaborates with neighboring parishes as appropriate to enhance the mission of the Church.
