Embrace

Meeting the long term needs of single parents, divorced and separated through community

pin What is Embrace?

Embrace is a NEW ministry for single parents, divorced, or separated people. This exciting new ministry's mission is to nurture a community of single parent, divorced, or separated people through social gatherings, education, and spiritual growth. It is open to men and women of all ages and of all faiths.

Embrace is focused on glorifying God by meeting the long term needs of people who are single parents, divorced, or separated by building a community of people that are sharing a common life experience. This community will provide a safe and comfortable place for them to build their faith, meet new people, and learn about topics of interest to their particular needs.

Embrace will host monthly gatherings. Initially, these gatherings will be purely social events to help building community and camaraderie. Eventually, Embrace will host speakers that will provide information on a variety of spiritual, parenting, legal/financial, and relationship/dating topics of interest to single parents, divorced and separated people.

pin What Embrace is NOT

Embrace is not a support group.  Embrace may not be the right ministry for someone in the early stages of divorce, separation, or the loss of a spouse.

Embrace will not require you to share information about yourself or your particular life experiences.

Embrace does not discriminate. Embrace has no age or faith requirements. Any one 21 or older is welcome. Attending St. Ann's or even being Catholic is not a requirement to participate in Embrace. Embrace does not care how or why you became a single parent, divorced or separated; however, Embrace will always encourage people to live a life that glorifies God.
