Liturgical Arts & Environments
Purpose
These ministers are asked to create décor which enhances the Liturgical season, or event celebrated by our worshiping community.
Skills
This group is in need of a broad base of ministers: individuals
who are good at textiles, fabrics or flowers, and people who are skilled
at organizing people and projects are also needed to be of assistance
in assembling and removing seasonal arrangements. We are in need of
trained artists and designers to develop ideas for creating seasonal
designs.
Note: During our Church building renovation, liturgies will be held
in LaSalette Hall, the Gym and the Parish Center. This ministry will
be working primarily with these unique liturgical environments.
Contact
Mrs. Sharon Howard is the Coordinator of the Art & Environment
Committee. Her contact information can be found in the bulletin.
Benefit
Members of the team will become familiar with the interior planning of our renovated church and chapel as well as making our temporary worship space a fitting space for the celebration of Mass.
Time Commitment
Varies upon involvement, but time is always needed as the liturgical seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter begin and end.
