Meals on Wheels

Our Weekday Program cooperates with Cobb Community Service Programs and the meals are delivered throughout Cobb County, but mainly off Whitlock Rd. and off Powder Springs Rd. The food is picked up at the Cobb Co. Senior Center on Fairground St. in Marietta.

The volunteers deliver every Tuesday and Wednesday. There are enough volunteers so that each one only helps once per month. For more information on the Weekday Program, contact Sylvia Vazquez – 770-552-2902

In addition, we provide a separate Holiday Lunch Program for seniors in St. Ann's parish. Holiday meals are prepared at St. Ann's and usually different volunteers deliver the food.

Mission Statement: To offer hot, nutritious meals delivered to homebound seniors who have little outside support and are unable to cook for themselves

Stewardship Needs: Participants to pick up and deliver hot meals in the morning between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM in Marietta approximately once a month; also a coordinator for our Holiday Lunch Program as well as cooks and drivers; volunteers are able to work in either or both programs.
