Order of Christian Initiation
OCIA
OCIA is the process by which adults become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is concerned with the total formation of the person: living with the Church community (practical formation), praying with the Church community (liturgical formation), serving with the Church community (ministry formation), believing with the Church community (doctrinal formation). Our schedule of teaching topics attempts to build an overview of the Catholic faith. This gradual development of Catholic life culminates in the celebration of the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
An information/registration session will be held on September 9th in the AFF Room.
A complete overview of the process, team introductions, time for questions and distribution of materials make up the agenda for our opening Sunday. For further information, please contact Fr. Ray Cadran at 770-552-6400 ext. 6026.
