At summer camps, you can expect praise and worship, talks, small groups, prayer and sacramental opportunities, a ropes course, an obstacle course, messy games and so much more. It's essentially a week-long encounter with Jesus and your friends in the North Georgia mountains. Camps are offered for high school and middle school students. Scroll down for registration info, videos of last year's camps and FAQ.

  • What's included in the cost of summer camp?

The cost includes transportation, food, lodging, activities, supplies, chaperone cost and a camp t-shirt.

  • Is summer camp only for St. Ann parishioners or Catholics?

While Catholic in nature, St. Ann events and camps are open to all, regardless of religion. It is our belief that our God is one who calls to each and every one of his children. We take pride in being a community that is open, welcome and hospitable to all. You do not need to be a registered parishioner to attend summer camp.

  • Cancellations?

The $200 deposit is nonrefundable. If you need to drop out from summer camp, you will be refunded 50% of any additional payments you have made out of pocket. Donations cannot be refunded. If you withdraw within the month of camp, we will not be able to offer you a refund.

  • Can my child be in a group or cabin with their friend?

Yes! We will be assigning cabins based on gender and are happy to try and accommodate requests. As for small groups, please contact the Youth Ministry office to make requests. We cannot promise that all requests will be met.

  • What to bring?

We recommend a duffle bag instead of a rolling suitcase as gravel roads can damage wheels.

    • Two pairs of clothes to get messy (we recommend athletic shorts, a non-white t-shirt and shoes that will stay on your feet while running)
    • Clothing that is comfortable and appropriate for rock climbing (longer shorts necessary)
    • 6 days worth of athletic/casual clothes for daily outdoor activities (t-shirts, shorts, etc.)
    • Sweatshirt/light jacket for cooler mornings and evenings
    • One pair closed-toe tennis shoes for climbing
    • One pair of sandals or slides for showering
    • One pair of water shoes that can be secured to feet
    • One piece bathing suit/swimming trunks (Ladies will need to bring shorts to wear over swimsuit)
    • Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
    • Towels (2 recommended- 1 for shower, 1 for swimming/waterfall)
    • Twin-size sheets/blanket/pillow or sleeping bag/pillow
    • Money/Cards/Gift cards for snacks and apparel at the Outpost and crafts in the Art Barn (suggested amount $20-$50 per camper)
    • Bug repellant
    • Sunscreen
    • Flashlight
    • Water bottle
    • Sunglasses and/or hat
    • Rain jacket/poncho (it does rain often in the afternoons!)
    • Bible (We will be using a Bible during sessions and morning prayer)
    • Journal and pen
  • What not to bring?

All electronics must be left in the cabin for retreat sessions. Drugs, alcohol and all other illegal substances are forbidden. If found, the authorities will be contacted first, then followed by the parents or guardians, who will be asked to pick up the teen immediately.

  • Does my teen need to bring any money?

If they would like to. All meals and activities are covered by the cost of summer camp but there is a camp store. If your teen would like to purchase anything then they will need to bring money to do so.

  • What if my teen has a food allergy?

Please contact the Youth Ministry office as soon as possible and we will make every effort to accommodate your teen as best as we can. Any teen is welcome to bring their own food due to allergies.

  • What if my teen has to arrive late or leave early?

If your teen is unable to arrive in time to ride the bus or needs to leave summer camp early, that is no problem! Make sure that you inform the Youth Ministry staff ahead of time. Teens must be dropped off or picked by an adult driver. Teens cannot drive themselves.
