It highlights how God's exemplary role as a father offers a blueprint for nurturing, forgiveness, and consistency, serving as a beacon for dads striving to create a loving and spiritually grounded home environment.
Nancy Grabe, MSW, brings to this conversation not just her professional expertise in Christian Counseling and Clinical Social Work but also her deep personal commitment to the values of family and faith. As a mother, therapist, and a fervent believer, Nancy is uniquely positioned to guide fathers through the challenges of parenting with grace and wisdom. The St. Ann's Young Adults group will be making a 1-day pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Experience mass, a tour, and the rosary with the nuns. Confession optional. Lunch and free time included.

Thomas Merton discussion group

Thomas Merton was a Trappist monk, author, and scholar. A small group is forming to read his many writings. It will open with “Man of Dialogue: Thomas Merton’s Catholic Vision” by Dr. Gregory Hillis, director of the Aquinas Center at Emory University.
Hillis introduces Merton’s life and thoughts, which were influenced by his identity as a Catholic priest and an immersion in the Church’s liturgical, theological, and spiritual traditions.
