Prayer at St. Ann

Parish prayer lists

Each week, the Pastoral Care office creates three prayer lists. Each list has the same intensity or importance as the other. However, they are different regarding public awareness.

  • Announced: Names read aloud during weekend Masses. Reserved for those who are hospitalized, seriously ill or at the end of life. Names announced only with the individual's permission.
  • Bulletin: A list of names of those requesting public prayer and listed only with the individual's permission.
  • Let Us Pray book: A book of names that is placed on the altar during the presentation of the gifts during weekend Masses.

To be included on any of these three lists, contact the Pastoral Care office at 770-552-6400 x6019.

More options

The parish also hosts a prayer ministry dedicated to prayer without ceasing. The Prayer Line Ministry is in addition to St. Ann Pastoral Care and is open to anyone who needs prayer, not just parish members.

Praying together, Praying apart: At-home prayers for times of healing, illness and death
