We are all thrilled to welcome a new member of the La Salette community to our clergy team at St. Ann. Father David joins us from his last assignment in Jasper, Texas. As a member of the La Salette order, Father David began his vocation in his home country of Myanmar and was ordained

a priest on May 4, 2004. This year, at the age of 53, he will celebrate his 20th priestly anniversary.

Like most of us, Father David enjoys being outside in nature. He spends time camping, cycling, and fishing. often enjoying a delicious meal of fish and chips.

He is a dedicated son and brother who recently spent time visiting his mother overseas. He credits a La Salette missionary for awakening his interest in the priesthood. His formation took him to many places, including time in the Philippines. Father David finds parish life fulfilling and is looking forward to making a home here with us at St. Ann. He shares a love of the La Salette charism of reconciliation and hopes he can become a spiritual father to the parish members through community and new relationships.
